"I'm glad the series is not over!"

I too expected some crazy mystery to happen but it was a great read. I too read this one in one day but all it leaves you is wanting more. Harris has left the story/plots in this book open to more mysteries in this series. I am mostly excited about that. I would be quite sad if the Sookie novels ended. All to say you have to draw your own opinion, I did not put this one down. My mood during my reading of this was sad mostly because I know the next installment doesn't come out until May of this year. However if you go online to her website you can actually get a peek at the first chapter of her next book due in May. Surely what she reveals in this chapter will restore your hope in this next one! (that was for the ones that thought it deserved 3 or less stars.)

I bought my daughter a lot of books for Christmas. She is 20 years old and loves these books!
"decent, but...."

The complexity in which Charlaine Harris's books had seem to be lacking in "From Dead To Worse." Althought, it's 300-something pages, it seemed a bit light. However, I was happy about the end of the story when a new character was introduced. I'm sure Mrs. Harris will have a great time conjuring more complex storylines for this younger character.

Other than that, I can't complain about the book and can't wait for the next one.

I love this series, but this was my least favorite so far. I am holding out for the new one..

FROM DEAD TO WORSE is my first Sookie Stackhouse paranormal mystery, but it won't be my last.
What fun! A great read, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
